Canadian born Oscar Petersonn was one of the greatest pianists and composers of all time. He played over thousand concerts, published over 200 records and received seven Grammys. Duke Ellington called him the “Maharaja of piano keys”. His work was immensely inspirational for an incredible amount of jazz musicians. He was as well known as a passionate photographer.

The high daylight flooded windows lend to the Suite a majestic feeling where peace and luxury can be found at the same time. Numerous Oscar’s original memorabilies of his successful and extensive life are exhibited in the suite such as his fishing rod for salmon-fishing, photos with the Queen of England and Mandela, Japanese awards or his world famous “Hymn To Freedom”, as well as one of his cameras and his pictures as a photographer.
