Albert Edwin Condon – Eddie Condon – was not only an American jazz guitarist of traditional Chicago jazz style, but banjoist, bandleader, promoter and writer. His books “Jazz – We Called It Music, Treasury Of Jazz and Eddie Condon’s Scrap Book” are very important documents in jazz history and are here in this double room to be viewed. All memorabilies have been carefully selected by Eddie’s daughter Maggie who also inaugurated the room. By the way Eddie was never without a bow tie!!
