The trumpeter and singer invented the language of jazz and made it famous worldwide. Thanks to his unmistakable voice, Armstrong is considered the most important figure in this musical genre. He is the only musician who did not inaugurate his own room here.
There are many valuable memorabilia to discover here, such as one of his trumpets, a photo of his house in Queens, NY (now a museum worth visiting), his sandals and an original handwritten letter to Arwell and Madeleine Shaw.
